Matthews 5th player ever to open with 2 hat tricks

Auston Matthews registered his second hat trick in two games to open the season, becoming just the fifth player in NHL history to do so, and the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Minnesota Wild 7-4 on Saturday night at Scotiabank Arena.
