Jackets’ new GM Waddell fires Vincent as coach

Hired as coach less than a year ago, Pascal Vincent was dismissed by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday, following a season in which the club struggled to a 27-43-12 finish and 66 points, by far the fewest total in the Eastern Conference.
