NFL clubs table TNF flex, OK 2 short-week games

A proposal to allow games to be flexed into a Thursday night kickoff was tabled on the final day of the league’s annual meetings and was met with adamant opposition from some, including Giants owner John Mara and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
