Poirier: Planned to retire at UFC 302 with title win

Dustin Poirier said Monday during an appearance on the “The MMA Hour” with Ariel Helwani that he was “going to put the belt down with the gloves” had he succeeded in capturing the undisputed lightweight championship at UFC 302.
