SJU’s Pitino ‘not ripping anybody,’ stands by words

St. John’s coach Rick Pitino, speaking to Newsday on Monday, said he stands by the criticism he leveled at his team Sunday night after the Red Storm blew a 19-point lead in a 68-62 loss to Seton Hall.
